Overview

ResearchMind is a Multi-Agent AI Research Assistant that automates the complete research workflow using specialized AI agents. Instead of relying on a single LLM, the system orchestrates multiple agents that collaborate to search, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information before generating a structured research report.

Problem Statement

Traditional AI assistants often provide answers based on limited context and may lack verification or quality review mechanisms. ResearchMind addresses this challenge by dividing research tasks among specialized agents, enabling deeper information gathering, analysis, and report generation.

Architecture

The system consists of four specialized AI agents:

Search Agent

Searches the web for relevant and recent information.
Identifies high-quality sources related to the user's query.

Reader Agent

Extracts and processes information from retrieved sources.
Filters and summarizes important content.

Writer Agent

Synthesizes collected information.
Generates structured and coherent research reports.

Critic Agent

Reviews generated reports.
Evaluates quality, relevance, and completeness.
Provides feedback for refinement.
